Jim Dandy

Two personalities - sweet and sour

In 1895, Butte saw its largest warehouse explosion. Jim, one of the fire horses at the time, miraculously survived the chaos but Dandy, another horse, did not make it. This drink is an ode to both of them and the work they did for our Community. As if having two different personalities, our Jim Dandy creates a sweet and sour combination in honor of both horses who worked tirelessly for Butte.

1.5 oz High Ore Vodka
¾ oz Fresh Huckleberries
Fresh Orange, sliced for individual servings
1 oz Headframe Lavender Simple Syrup
1 oz Lemon Juice
Fresh Lemon cut for garnishing

Cut a Fresh Orange into slices
In a shaker, muddle the Huckleberries
Add a squeeze of Fresh Orange along with all other ingredients over ice
Shake well to incorporate a flavor friendly environment
Pour into 12 oz glass with ice
Garnish with Lemon wedge

Special Tools
Citrus Knife

Try substituting Huckleberries for a berry that is native to your region like Strawberries and Blueberries. Use our Anselmo Gin to bring out the floral notes.
