Headframe Spirits distillery in Butte sits atop four mining lodes, including The Destroying Angel. We love the
rich history under our feet and we love a rich spirit in our hands. In the tradition of Butte’s storied past, we’ve crafted our Destroying Angel Whiskey to steal a quick kiss from an oak barrel before finding its way into the bottle. The Destroying Angel Whiskey has a lightly sweet taste, great for sipping and mixing.

LEATHERNECK COCKTAIL:

Shake in an iced cocktail shaker, and strain into a cocktail glass.
  • 2 oz Destroying Angel Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice

MANHATTAN:

Shake in an iced cocktail shaker, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
  • 2 oz Destroying Angel Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz sweet Vermouth
  • 2 – 3 Angostura Bitters

SAZERAC:

Pour the Pernod into a frosted glass and turn to coat the sides. Dump excess liqueur in the sink (or drink it!). Add sugar, water and bitters to the glass, stirring to dissolve. Strain into the glass and pour in the whiskey. Stir and garnish with a twist of lemon.
  • 2 oz Destroying Angel Whiskey
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pernod
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 dashes Peychaud bitters
